Lifting Belts: When They Help
Belts can improve bracing on heavy compounds—they are not a substitute for core training or good technique.
Use a belt for hard sets on squats, deadlifts, and overhead work once your bracing basics exist. Breathe into the belt 360°, don't just suck in and cinch.
Skip living in a belt for every warm-up set and curl. Train your trunk; use the belt as a tool, not a crutch.
